Give It A Go Duathlon
Welcome to the University of Sheffield Triathlon Club's Give it a Go Duathlon!
If you’re looking to try something brand new, meet some awesome friendly people, or improve an existing talent, our duathlon is the event for you!
This event is aimed at both the beginner and more experienced sportsman/woman, so however confident you feel, come and give it a go
Entry:
Entry costs only £2- Please bring this on the day and fill out the following 3 forms in advance of the day.
The Race:
There will be both a long and a short course for all abilities. Please see more information on the race briefing linked to the left.

Getting Here:
Our Give it a Go Duathlon (run, cycle, run) is held on the outskirts of the beautiful Peak district.
o By bike: We will be cycling you to the edge of the peak district where our event is located. Don’t worry it is only a short cycle around 7km. We will be leaving from The Edge (in Endcliffe student village). The timings for this will be posted on the Facebook event nearer the time so please keep an eye out!
o By bus: Take the number 51 bus towards Lodge Moor leaving the SU every 12 minutes and get off at the last stop (Lodge Moor), and then walk about 300m up the road to the Sportsman Lodge Moor.
o By car: The registration and start will be from the field behind the Sportsman Lodge Moor, 569 Redmires Rd, Sheffield S10 4LJ, but please DON'T park in the car park of the pub, there is a free car park on the left just after the pub that you can use.
You will need to bring:

A helmet - No helmet, no race.

U-card (if you have one).

YOU DON'T NEED A BIKE!
If you would like to borrow a bike, please get in touch with us by sending us a message on Facebook or Instagram and we can arrange a bike for you.
After the Race:
We will be having a socially distanced drink in the Sportsman Lodge Moor! Please come and join us!
This will be a good opportunity to get to know other freshers and ask any of our current members questions about the club.
